A Chef’s Farm
Willowolf Farm started as an idea. A simpler way of life where we could surround ourselves around animals and nature. In a few short years, it evolved into a way of life that changed our lives for the better. Our goal was to create a natural, honest and rewarding life, for ourselves, others, and every animal and living thing around us. Today we are grateful to call this place our home and our passion. Willowolf Farm is where we work and reside, on 15-acres located in a town called Tottenham, Ontario. We are a non-certified organic farm, using no pesticides, herbicides, or any fertilizer products that are not certified organic. Our goal is to work with Mother Nature, respecting the earth, and all the organisms that co-exist with the food that we grow. In doing this we strive to create a healthy soil food web system that is biodiverse, creating food that is delicious and nutrient-dense, and hopefully also pretty on your plate!

A little about Us. Nice to meet you!
Sandra & John-Vincent Troiano
We are a husband and wife duo. Our relationship has always been a supportive team effort, and passion projects have always been our thing!
In 2018 we opened FRILU, a small scale, tasting menu restaurant that spotlighted local and seasonal produce from Ontario, Canada. In 2020, we established Willowolf Farm with the goal of producing the most interesting produce, while also being true to our restaurant’s “Farm-to-Table” intentions. In 2022, the first year of the Michelin Guide coming to Canada, we were awarded 1* one star. In 2023, we retained our 1* star and also gained a Michelin Green Star for sustainable practices with our farm, making us the first in all of Canada with a Michelin 1* one star and Michelin Green Star.
Willowolf farm is a “Chef’s Farm”, run by a chef, producing chef-driven produce that is unique to restaurants and chefs alike. Our goal is to work closely with restaurants like you, to provide interesting produce that elevates your dishes. We will be growing items that were once a success at FRILU. As we develop partnerships with chefs and restaurants, we are hoping to work with you, growing produce that is desirable and dictated by you and your customers.
We look forward to working (and growing) with you!
Sincerely,
John-Vincent Sandra
